Window Pains: Green Checkpoint 1

I don't have any tips for this checkpoint. The jumps are all simple & straightforward...to lull you into a false sense of security for what is to come later.

Cliffhanger: Green Checkpoint 5

1. Sprint & jump off the very edge of the path.
2.  While in the air continue to go forward until you hit the slime.
3.  When you start going upward do a 180 so you can land on the window ledge.
4.  Jump to the doorway as soon as you hit the button.
5.  I suck at head hitter jumps so no advice on how to get to the ladder...I just get lucky.
6.  From the top of the ladder you have to sprint jump to the lower pile of snow.
7.  After reaching the roof of the room you jumped into, you jump 1 of the first floating blocks.  But do NOT jump from the closest take off point.  It's 1 layer of snow shorter & will not allow you to make the jump.
8.  There are multiple paths to get to the end of the floating blocks, but be careful...some jumps are too high to make.
9.  At the end you have a 4 block jump.  I start on the far right of the take off block, and land on the far left of the landing block.   You can use the lower block behind you to get momentum if you want.
10.  The next jump is a 5 block & 1/2 block down jump.  Line up your cursor JUST like I did mine, then sprint jump to the ice block.  Right before you hit the ice, turn towards your desired landing point.

1.12 Is HERE

Spinkour is now running on 1.12!  My dev updated the party plugin, and fixed a few bugs the original version had.  Then Lmac77 updated the rest of the server.  Normally when I update, I whitelist the server for a couple days so that Hazama_S & I can retest all the jumps.  Mojang likes to tweak the physics of the game from time to time, and that can sometimes make jumps impossible that were possible in previous versions.  This time I'm leaving the server open to the public, but keep in mind we won't have everything retested for a few days.  You could find a jump that just isn't possible during this time.

Another thing that you'll notice during the next week is that I'm giving the server a facelift.  All the clay & wool blocks will be removed & I'll be adding the new cement blocks in their place.  It'll be a lot more colorful when I'm done.

If anyone finds any bugs with the party system let me know via Twitter or message me in game if I happen to be online working.  Otherwise, enjoy the update!

Spinkour Party System!

For a long time I've wanted a party system for Spinkour.  I love the original plugin, but that was the 1 thing it lacked.  Ash, the creator of the plugin even said he would add a system in the future & give Spinkour a pre-released version of it when it was done.  So Spinkour would get a month of using the party system before anyone else got to use it.  The only issue was he had some other projects to finish up first, so I decided to have Minecraft user MajoolwipMC make a modification to the plugin for me.  So now...we have a working party system!  It works like most other party systems.  You can create a party & invite all your friends prior to joining a course.  When you join a course they will join with you, and every time someone in your party completes a checkpoint you all advance together!

In the near future I'll do a video about it, and I think ZackScottGames will be doing a video about it, but until then here's a list of the commands you'll be using.

       /pa join (course/courseId) - Join the course
/pa leave - Leave the course
       /pa createParty - Create a new party.
/pa sendInvite (player) - Invite a player to your party.
/pa acceptInvite - Accept invite given to you.
/pa leaveParty - Leave your current party.
/pa kick (player) - Kicks a player from your party.
/pa party - Displays your current party.
/pa stats (course) - Display the course information
/pa info (player) - Display your players Parkour information

You'll also notice that Spinkour looks a little better on your server list.  Lmac77 was nice enough to fancy that up a bit.
