Death By Diamonds Render Contest

The animation contest was a success & now it's time for a render contest.  The details of the contest are below, and the video where I announce the winners of the animation contest is at the bottom of this post.

Theme:  Death By Diamonds

Requirements:
1.  Features my skin (IGN: Spintown) & the Drawf skin.

2.  You have to recreate a scene from the video OR create an original moment using the characters & theme of the music video Death By Diamonds.

Other Details:
1.  All submissions are due by the end of the day October 1st.  This timer is counting down to your deadline.

2.  Send your submissions to me on Discord: Spintown#9790
3.  Submissions should be uploaded to Imgur as a PNG or JPG.
4.  Title your file the name you want to be credited as.
5.  Winner will be picked by Spintown & announced within a week of the deadline.

Let Me C's U Grab That Ladder: Blue Checkpoint 12

The first 4 blocks are simple 1 block gaps. The next 4 are also 1 block gaps, but diagonal in upward.  The block before the lantern, sprint jump onto the lantern to use that momentum to make the next longer jump.  After that, you have a 3 block jump that goes up 1...so you'll need a good sprint jump.

The 3 C's are next.  Getting onto the first one is easy, and the 2nd isn't too bad.  The 3rd is basically a wall jump.  So be careful not to jump out too far from the wall & jump at the far corner of the block you're supposed to land on.

Next jump is easy, and sets you up to fail the next one.  If you rush, you assume it's the same as the one you just did, but really it's a head bumper.  If you manage to get by that....you've just got 1 difficult jump left.

After a 4 block jump & a couple 1 blockers, you come to the worst of it.  This jump is insanely hard.  If you manage to find the right angle, get a good jump, and touch the ladder, you'll need to shift & look back the other direction as soon as possible.  Otherwise your momentum will take you off the left side of the ladder or the back of it.

At some point I'll get a video of me doing the entire thing.  I ran the checkpoint today & got to the last jump & failed.  I didn't want to spend all day trying to make the final jump, so I'm using a clip from Scottland Studios in which I made the jump.

Some things on this course require a little luck, a little problem solving & a lot of skill.  This one is ALL skill...good luck.

Difficulty Ramp Up: Blue Checkpoint 11

Below is what the checkpoint originally looked like.

When attempting the jump, you need to hit the button while you're in the air.  You also have to make sure you jump all the way in front of the piston or it'll just push you into the wall.  And when you finally make the jump, hit the button & clear the wall....you will STILL fail unless you hold backwards when the piston hits you.  It's a lot to try to do in a short period of time.

Bed Wars Animation Contest

I've had a few animated intros made for different series over the years, I'm looking for something to use for my future Bed Wars videos. (Examples of past intros: Overcast, Stratus & Spinkour)

Theme:  Hypixel Bed Wars intro for Spintown.

Requirements:
1.  Features my skin (IGN: Spintown)

2.  15-35 seconds in length

3.  Music is not required, but IF you use music I had 3 different theme songs made, and you should use one of those.
A:  Bed Wars Theme 1
B:  Bed Wars Theme 2
C:  Bed Wars Theme 3

4.  The animation should take place on a Hypixel Bed Wars map, but it doesn’t matter which one.

5.  The name “Spintown” should appear near the end using Blue or Yellow text.

New Plugin & Feature

We have installed a new parkour plugin with an added feature.  Now you should have an extra item in your inventory when you join a course.  A SWORD!  When you shift & right click the Sword it will restart the course & the timer.  So you no longer have to leave the course & rejoin to start a speed run again.

The party system also changed a bit, but it's mostly the same with hopefully a few bugs fixed.  I updated the command list on the website so you can look at the party commands as a couple changed.   As it's a new plugin, please report bugs to me on Discord or Twitter so I can have them squashed.  Thanks, and enjoy the new changes.
